Visitors to the 2012 Art Among Friends show will be treated to a special surprise - A Mail Art Exhibit entitled Art to Remember.  Art to Remember will focus on Alzheimer's awareness and has been organized by Grade 7 student Jessica Brann.

What exactly is Mail Art?  It's small pieces of original artwork that are mailed from one place to another.  As it travels through postal systems, the artwork gets post marks, stamps, damage, and routing which is considered part of the character of the art itself.  Mail artists treat their art as a free exchange of creativity and energy from one person to another.  

Artists and non-artists from around the world are invited to submit postcard-sized pieces of artwork to:
